Léonard-Agathon received the gold prize at the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris for a “surtout de table” composed of 15 figurines en “porcelaine biscuit” representing the rythmic progression of a dance movement. Copies in gilted bronze like the one depicted were cast later.
